Recreation

Both wild turkey and black bear are common visitors here. Bordering thousands of acres of contiguous public lands makes this property a hunter's dream. GMU 58 is known for producing some very nice bulls and bucks. You shouldn't have to venture very far to harvest a good bull here.
History
The Black Mountain and Waugh Mountain area has a storied ranching history. One of those story's is the story of Old Mose the Grizzly Bear who lived on the slopes of Black Mountain.
