621 Acres Coffee Finca
Finca La Espanola : La Suiza De Turrialba, Costa Rica

Ranch Description
621 acre (251.44 Hectares) coffee has been cultivated on about 50% of the farm, but hasn't been worked for the past three years. 20% in pasture, 30% in natural forest. Elevation ranges from 3100 ft (950 meters to 1200 m) to 4000 ft above sea level. Wonderful climate- no need for heat or air conditioner, cooler weather than much of the Turrialba area. 3 houses come with this farm. On Cabeza de Toro river.
Abundant water supply and other conditions that would make this an excellent place for a Coffee Processing Mill. Private area about 1/2 hour from Turrialba. Nearest village is Cien Manzanas.
If coffee, cattle or horses is you interest, take a look at this farm.
At one time this farm produced 4000 fanegas of coffee per year. With the new disease and rust resistant varieties of coffee which have much higher yields this could be a very profitable farm. Granted it will take a great deal of work to get it up and going. Owner say that you could start harvesting some coffee from plants within 1 1/2 years after replanting. We have a projection of what the cost would be, contact us for this information.
Seller would offer management services for as long as the new buyer needs if the buyer doesn't have coffee farming experience.
