Turn off State Road 233 onto Tecoma Road. Tecoma Road is a fairly well maintained washboard road with few potholes. You will cross two sets of railroad tracks before hitting the Antelope Road intersection. Antelope Road intersects Tecoma about one mile off State Road 233.
About half a mile down Antelope Road, you jog to the right and there are some old trailer homes that look to be abandoned. Navigation directs you off Antelope Road by these trailers, but there is no visible road there. Continue on Antelope Road for another half mile and a road leads off sharply to the north. The final section of road to the property takes off to the south and is fairly hard to see.
The last mile to the property is an abandoned road. A high profile vehicle is recommended for this part of the road. There are a few washes along this road that you will need to be careful of. There are some electrical poles at the north end of the property. The land is flat and you can get there with a high profile vehicle. We found a geological marker on the northeast corner of the property. About a mile to the east is a nice homestead with some beautiful green trees showing that water should not be too difficult to access.
The valley around this parcel is flat and mostly covered with sagebrush and prairie grass. Establishing a road would be simple and only necessitate clearing a path to the property. I have seen rabbits, antelope, lizards, and birds in this area. The nearest established town is Montello which has a small gas station, grocery store, motel, post office, restaurant and bar. This would be a great property for homesteading for a person who wants to live off the grid. The nearest manmade structures are approximately one mile away in several directions.
