Post Oak Creek Ranch is currently being used as a horse ranch housing over 40 Arabian Horses. There are multiple fenced paddocks with individual loafing sheds that provide shelter and the ability to keep mares and stallions separated. Several of the paddocks sit directly behind the cabin and there are several along the 7 acre lake allowing the horses some access to lake. The horses are primarily in their paddocks or in the fields grazing to the NE of the log cabin and only utilize the North part of the ranch leaving the South end a blank slate. South of the lake and cabin the rest of the ranch is a great mix of improved pastures, creek bottoms, and timber. These pastures are ideal for cattle and livestock and hay production. For the recreational hunter these pastures would be ideal for making excellent fall food plots since they run the length of the ranch from North to South. Most of the pastures run along Post Oak Creek and there is phenomenal transition cover for mature whitetails on the field edges before you hit the mixed oak and pine forest.
