Ranch Description

The Eagle Creek Vineyard & Pasture property is located on the north side of the beautiful Eagle Valley of northeast Oregon. This area is well known for its mild winters and long growing season and is part of the Snake River Ava. Baker City and I-84 are just 40 minutes to the west of the Eagle Valley. The Snake River, Hells Canyon and the Eagle Cap Mountains and their unlimited recreational opportunities are only minutes away.

This 37.55 acre property features a beautifully remodeled home with custom finishes, 40' x 60' shop, 9.2 acres of vineyard, 22 +/- acres of irrigated pasture and 5 +/- acres of dry land pasture. There are tremendous views from the home over the Eagle Valley and directly towards Lookout Mountain to the south.

In 2018 the single-level custom home was completed partial remodel with new addition and features 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, office, all with an open concept design. The vineyard is professionally managed by Travis Cook of Keating Vineyard Services. Features include Shur Farms frost protection system with a temperature controlled cold drain fan, 2,000' of Frost Curtains made to surround the vineyard, 6' woven wire perimeter fencing topped with 2' smooth wire and an electric gate for access. All vines are set up with automatic individual irrigation systems.

The property has a total of 32.5 acres of water rights from Eagle Creek. 29.5 acres have a priority date of 1889 and 3 acres have a priority date of 1882. Irrigation water is delivered via the Newt Young Ditch out of Eagle Creek. The irrigated pasture land is flood irrigated and covers approximately 22 acres and is rented on an annual basis to a neighbor.

A domestic well was drilled in 2007, there is a standard septic system as well as a 1,000 gallon underground propane tank.
