We have seen Elk, Deer, Antelope, and Rabbits in the area. There is plenty of hunting and fishing opportunities in Elko County to take advantage of, along with quick access to West Wendover for nightlife, casinos, golf, and supplies.

There is a subdivision with homes that have power and water within a mile North of the parcel on the other side of the creek. Bar O ranch is about 0.5 miles to the north. Most homesteads outside of the subdivision use solar and above ground water.
