Approximately 13 acres, located just outside of the small rural town of Alton, MO. Alton is located in the heart of Oregon County and has tons of things for you to explore. You are within a 10-minute drive to town.

As you follow the county road to the property, you will come to a red gate that marks the end of the county road. Follow the easement road, and the property will be the 2nd one on the right. There are two entrances to this property. There is a nice bunch of hardwoods that separate the two driveways.

As you enter the clearing, you will see that there is a good selection of oak trees. The land is relatively flat on the north side of the clearing and does start to slope a little bit to the south. As you get past the clearing, you will see some magnificent views to the south. There is a water filling station in Mountain View, which is approximately 20 miles from the property. You can fill up to 25 gallons for $0.25. This is potable water and is safe.

In Missouri, you can do a lagoon as long as you have 3 or more acres. It does have to be built a certain way for it to be effective. You can also look at composting systems.

GREER Spring is a first magnitude spring located in the southeast portion of the Ozark Plateau, in Oregon County in south-central Missouri, within the boundaries of the Mark Twain National Forest. The spring is the second largest spring in the Ozarks, with an average discharge of 360 cubic feet of water per second. The property is located about 14.4 miles away. It also feeds into the Eleven Point River.

The Eleven Point River is a 138-Mile-Long river in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. It originates near Willow Springs, Missouri. It more than doubles in flow when Greer Spring Branch runs into it, adding over 200 million US gallons of water per day to the river. There are several canoe rental, camping grounds, and public access in this area.
