This property has a lot of mountain stone, and you could start harvesting that and lots of wildlife and the cut 2 years ago usually improves the deer hunting with more new plants and bedding areas. There is a large rock yard about 4 miles from this and you might be able to work a harvesting contract with them. It goes all the way to the top of the mountain, and you could build anywhere with views. There is an old home site marked with a red dot on the aerial map. The old foundation and chimney are still there. Northcutt's is a hidden cove and very rural. If you are interested in large tracts, contact me and I can send you several listings. From Northcutt's Cove Rd make a left-on Northcutt's Cove Lane and go 1 mile and take Leonard Smart Rd. It looks like it goes to house but it continues. The road sign is down so look at the last picture and the post is still there. This has some roads (see maps). You could park around the log deck and walk or take a 4-wheeler. The old logging roads have just been regraded. Leonard Smart Road has a county road sign and was part of a larger road system at one time. If you look under parcel map it will show what has been cut and this is the most recent map. Underground fiber optic was run down Northcutt's about 2 months ago. The map that Landflip has under map shows the timber cut well that was done a couple years ago. The one marked parcel map under the files shows what was cut. That is the flattest area mid mountain. It has a surveyed 50 easement on the old Leonard Smart Rd, and it is under the files. It is very difficult in this area to find any property for $1500 per acre.
