The Goat Farm, named from the way locals refer to the area, has nothing to do with goats and a lot to do with waterfowl. It consists of 420 +/- acres And a cabin located in Woodruff County between Cache River and Bayou DeView. You can get here by traveling south of McCrory, AR Highway 64 or North of Brinkley, AR Interstate 40.
This cabin has plenty of space with 5 bathrooms and 4 bunk rooms. There's also a mud room and laundry room. An open floor plan puts the brick fireplace in a perfect spot for story telling whether you are resting in the living room or preparing meals from the kitchen or dining room.
The 420 +/- acres consists of two land sections. The 320 m/l acre section has high ground with recently planted trees in the middle with low ground on each end that provides excellent duck habitat. Storage is available with a large Pole Shed complete with electrical service. An electric well and water control structures provide opportunity to have water when you need it. The 100 m/l acre section has moist soil units and a natural wetland through the middle.
