Ranch Description

Cottonwood Creek Ranch is a large mountain hunting and cattle ranch in west-central Idaho that boasts a newly built 3,400 sq ft luxury log home. The land consists of 1,607.67 acres of rolling hills and meadows which borders state, federal, and BLM Bureau of Land Management lands. It features 2 remote mountain ponds, several natural springs, and contains deeded water rights with irrigation ditch water provided from Cottonwood Creek, which runs year-round through the southwest portion of the ranch. The ranch has a complete road system with culverts that reaches even the remote corners of the property.

The land also acts as a haven for wildlife such as elk, deer, and bear with the potential for a landowner hunting tag. Besides the hunting opportunities, the ranch would also be ideal for grazing cattle, horses, or livestock. It has been partially fenced and cross-fenced with ample pasture land available. The spacious barn features a sleeping bungalow, office area, equipment bays, and horse stalls. Approximately 30 acres of the property is cultivatable land, offering potential hay crop income.

The elegant 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, single level log home is a perfect addition to this mountain landscape. The inviting open interior showcases natural design elements throughout including rich hardwood, tile floors, and wood trim. This especially evident in the impressive great room which highlights towering vaulted ceilings, log beams, a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace, stained glass artwork above the door, and an antler chandelier. This amazing space connects with the formal dining area, breakfast nook, and the gourmet kitchen which features granite counters, stainless steal appliances, a breakfast bar, island, and beautiful custom cabinets. One will enjoy relaxing in the master bedroom suite which has granite counters, dual vanity sinks, a clawfoot tub, tile shower, and a huge walk-in closet.

The exterior of the home is just as remarkable. It consists of a 3 car attached garage, a covered porch, garden space, private driveway, and log storage shed. For entertaining or outdoor barbeques, there is a lovely zero-scape fenced western-style back yard that has an open patio and firepit.

The ranch affords privacy but is only 4 miles from the County Seat which has many services such as restaurants, groceries, Napa, mechanics, gas stations and other services.

It can be purchased as turn key' with furnishings, vehicles, the tractor, and all equipment necessary to maintain the ranch. There is also a ranch foreman available to oversee maintenance, if desired.
