Hat Creek is also a plentiful spring fed stream that flows year-round through the property and eventually drains into the Little Blackfoot River. There are many shady banks for one to fish out nice-sized brown trout. Snowmobiling The Rimini-Elliston-Basin Snowmobile Loop begins at Moose Creek and provides 161 miles of marked, groomed and non-groomed trails, cross country skiing, MacDonald Pass Ski Trails are four connected cross-country ski trail loops that are near the Continental Divide.

Hunting this area has the ideal habitat offering many different species of wildlife such as bear, moose, elk, deer, bobcat, mountain lion and more. Many wildlife enthusiasts can put in for tags to try their luck at having the opportunity to harvest the beautiful game or just travel around with your spotting scope and watch the wildlife in their natural surroundings.
