EL Rito Allotment is 88 +/- deeded acres with a +/- 38,000 acre forest allotment for cattle grazing. Ideally located within approximately 20 minutes from Grants. This property encompasses a large portion of the well known Mt. Taylor where mature Ponderosa Pines, and picturesque Aspen are a common site.
Land
Vegetation consists of several types of Gramma Grasses, Pine Grass, and Bluestem. Browses include Winter Fat and Chamiza.
Improvements
On the allotment, spring water is dispersed throughout the ranch to multiple drinkers via a pipeline system and several dirt tanks supplement water availability. The ranch is fenced and cross-fenced.
Agriculture
This allotment is shared with another individual. Buyer is buying half the allotment which at this time is for 130 head of cattle each season can vary year to year. The season is generally June-October and is at the discretion of the US Forest Service.
