Manchester is a village in Washtenaw County, Michigan, situated on the River Raisin, founded in 1833 and named after Manchester, England. The community grew up around the river's water power and historic Mill Pond. It provides cultural resources for residents of the adjacent rural townships. The Village is a full service center and not a suburb.
