The Event Barn/ Kennel- This building is about 1/2 open area under roof and 1/2 divided into multiple rooms. When The Grove hosted weddings, the wedding party used this building to dress and prepare the food. There is a dressing room for the groom, which is now used as an office. There is a small commercial kitchen for food preparation, a men's bathroom, a Bride's dressing room with a connecting bathroom. The owners have converted the open area of the barn to a kennel, and it is actively used to train bird and sporting dogs. A great network of internal roads and trails leads to the various food plots and open areas throughout the property. There is a 3D archery range in a stand of beautiful hardwoods near the main home. The Grove, where the wedding ceremonies were held, is a nicely groomed area amid a stand of large cedar trees. Attendees and the wedding part could enjoy the ceremony in the shade of these stately trees. During the day we first visited the property, there were 15-20 wild turkeys scratching in the cedars in the grove. The open land on this property could easily be used for grazing livestock if that is what the new owner prefers. The timber on the property is a mixture of large mature hardwoods, some younger, thicker mixed timber, cedar and hackberry, and some pines.
