Alan Mackey is the Southern Regional Manager of LandVest’s Southern Timberland Transaction Division and handles LandVest’s southern brokerage activity out of our Americus, Georgia office. He specializes in generating new business, marketing transaction projects, valuations and disposition planning of timberland properties across the southeast. Alan has been a licensed real estate broker for 40 years and has a 30-year career in marketing timberland properties. He currently maintains LandVest’s southern real estate broker affiliations across much of the Southern U.S. and is a licensed real broker in 10 states. Prior to joining LandVest in 2003, Alan had been part owner and head of the real estate division of a major real estate auction company, and in 1986 started his own company specializing in the marketing of timberland properties. Alan graduated from Georgia Southwestern University with a BS in Chemistry. He is also a graduate of the Graduate Realtors Institute and the Certified Auctioneers Institute.
