This highly productive farm located just out of Minersville, Utah, Just 17 miles West of Beaver, Utah, consists of 410 acres.
The ranch has excellent water rights with 1,726 acre ft. of water. It features wells with 1,036 acre ft of water and the Rocky Ford Canal with 690 acre ft. The farm has a one 1 acre pond with a depth of thirteen 13 feet. The irrigation system is interconnected allowing the field to be irrigated from the canal water or from the wells. There is also a culinary water well.
The farm produces high quality dairy grade alfalfa and rotational crops including corn. There are three pivots and two wheel lines.
Diamond H Farm 1 averages 5.38 tons per acre of alfalfa. The farm produced 24,299 bushels of corn in the 2016-2017 year. There are multiple hog farms and dairy operations within a few miles of the farm allowing a market for the crops.
Improvements include a 90 x 75 hay barn, a 45 x 60 outside covered shop for additional hay storage and a 75 x 60 inside shop connected to the outside shop.
