Oak Hollow
Abbeville, SC 29620
Abbeville County, South Carolina
Ranch Description
Oak Hollow is a beautiful tract of wooded land set in a clean rural neighborhood in northern Abbeville County. Pastures and pecan orchards surround the tract with board fences along the road nearby.
The property is dominated by mature timber, hardwood, and pine. Not many tracts are offered for sale with trees of this age and size. The central part of the tract is covered with large loblolly Pines mixed with hardwoods. To the north and south of this are hardwood stands dominated by large Oaks and other hardwoods. A small creek makes the southern boundary.
There are a few small fields totaling about 2.5 acres. Most of the property has a gentle slope and would lend itself to being converted to pasture, especially where pines are now dominant. The areas visible along the road are mostly covered in younger trees.
The property has excellent, level frontage along Gin House Road, a small, paved county road which runs through the tract for just over 1,000 feet. The Oak Hollow Tract is about 15 miles from Abbeville, 18 miles from downtown Anderson, 45 miles from downtown Greenville, and 60 miles from Athens, GA. All distances are approximate road miles.
