The Carr Tract features 3 stands of planted pines, 6 food plots, a good interior road system and paved road frontage. There are 131 acres of 13 year old planted slash pines, 17 acres of 12 year old planted slash pines and 99 acres of 8 year old planted slash pines. The 12 and 13 year old pines will be ready to thin in the next year or two. The remainder of the land is in Bottomland hardwoods and with two intermittent streams on the property. The food plots are strategically located for optimal deer and turkey hunting and the pines provide good cover for the deer.
