There are some small tracts on the west side of the lake, and larger corporate land tracts around the rest of the shoreline. There are 22 watersheds (drainage basins) within Marquette County and the majority flow northward into Lake Superior. Pelissier Lake has four inlets that form a watershed that drains about 1.53 square miles into the lake. There is one outlet to the northwest of the lake that drains toward Little Lake Pelissier. From the L'Anse Welcome Sign take US41 south to Teal Lake Avenue in Negaunee. Take a right and go 1/4 miles to Main Street. Take a left and go 3 blocks to Healy Avenue. Take a right and go 2 blocks to County Road 480. Take a left and go to "Cross Roads" with County Road 553. At the Cross Roads, take a left (north) up County Road 553. Go 2.5 miles to Blue Bird Heights Road and take a left. You continue down this woods trail about 1.75+/- miles to a turn-off that will get you to the lake.
