Clifton Plantation Hunting Preserve, Inc. - Stockholder Share
Located on the west face of “The Rim” in Holmes County is Clifton Plantation Hunting Preserve. The Rim is a well-known topographical formation along the east side of the Mississippi Delta where it meets the Hills. Due to Clifton Plantations location being close to vast acreages of prime Delta farmland and rich soils, this area has the ability to produce trophy whitetail bucks and is also known for large flocks of eastern wild turkeys.
Clifton Plantation is comprised of 3000 acres of hardwood and pine timber interspersed with creeks flowing into the Delta. The historic “Big House” with a connecting covered pavilion, outdoor fireplace, deck and fire pit and a sleeping quarters, is the place for club members to meet after the hunt to cook and enjoy the family atmosphere of Clifton's thirty one members. Individual cabin sites are also available for a member to construct a lodge or cabin for more private accommodations.
Extensive habitat and wildlife management provides members the opportunity to harvest does, trophy bucks, long bearded gobblers and fishing in the two lakes. For water-fowling, Clifton Plantation is located only minutes from Hillside National Wildlife Refuge and Morgan Brake.
A year round care taker oversees all aspects of management and maintenance of the club facilities which includes: Five Stand Clay Shooting Range, 300 yard Rifle Range, 2 Fishing Lakes, miles of well-maintained ATV trails, acres and acres of food plots and farm fields, shooting houses and stands.
Clifton Plantation is a legacy hunting club first formed in the 1980's and like fine wine, has only gotten better with time. Don't miss this opportunity to become a stockholder in one of the best hunting clubs in Mississippi.
